Our new STAR programme at Zenith offers flexible and bespoke career opportunities no matter what you’re looking for, whether full/part-time roles, an apprenticeship or further education!
We also offer career-enhancing qualifications and employment to gain soft and transferable skills.


We’re working with a range of employers across different sectors, including Customer Service/Administration, Manufacturing & Production, Retail, Hospitality & Catering, and more. At Zenith Training we work with/have worked with employers such as Hitachi Construction, MI Dickson, and The Health Insurance Group.
No matter the career opportunity chosen, additional support is available to those who need it.

Candidate Criteria
- 16-24 years old
- South Tyneside Residents
(NE31 – NE36 and some of SR6) - Economically/Socially Inactive
- Must not fall into “All work-related activity group” if receiving Universal Credit
- Must have been out of work for 4 weeks or more.

- This programme aims to aid and support candidates in finding the next stage of their employment journey.
- This can include a whole host of opportunities with South Tyneside-based employers ranging from part-time/full-time/apprenticeships all with the goal of long-term sustainability in mind.
- If employment is not what the candidate is looking for, support will be provided for the candidate to search and apply for the correct college/training programme that is suitable for them.
- Employers range across multiple different sectors of work including Customer Service/Administration, Manufacturing & Production, Retail, Hospitality & Catering etc.
- Employers who are part of the South Tyneside Pledge onboard with the programme who we are currently working with including, MI Dickson, Hitachi Construction, The Health Insurance Group and more.
Programme Content
- The content of the programme will vary and be dependent on the needs of the candidates
- Can range from intensive 1-2-1 support with candidates over an extended duration of time
- Can include brief 1 or 2-day sessions for candidates who need little support
- Can include 5-day boot camp style training for those who require more support
- Content is tailored specifically to support that candidates' need
- Access and provision of qualifications.

- Soft Skills: Interpersonal and communication skills, such as teamwork, leadership, adaptability, & conflict resolution.
